Chief Executive Officer

We are searching for an executive with experience in the direct-to-consumer industry and with start-up ventures (preferably experience working in FemTech / Women’s Health). The CEO should be a self-starter and have deep experience in the world of consumer marketing. The role will work directly with the Founders of LiviWell.

The Role

We are looking for an individual who is eager to roll up their sleeves and help grow the company.  The individual should possess the skills to be the leader of a high profile start-up venture.  The candidate should be high-energy but also possess the ability to be focused and disciplined.

The role does not require you to come to the office and can be managed remotely.  The individual should be comfortable working in a virtual professional environment, making decisions with regular guidance/direction from the founders and able to manage variability in workload.  The ideal candidate will be ambitious and desires to work in a fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing company.

The preferred candidate should have: 

  • MBA Preferred
  • Executive leadership experience in the life sciences, consumer health or related field
  • New product launch experience
  • Preferred: Experience working in a start-up venture
  • Preferred: Experience working in feminine hygiene / feminine care
  • Preferred: Experience in public speaking, executive presentations, board presentations

Specific Responsibilities will include:

Leadership and Strategy

  • Serving as public “face” of LiviWell through public speaking, media appearances and service on boards and committees
  • Building the company’s long-term vision, mission and values
  • Creating the corporate strategic plan in collaboration with the company founders
  • Communicating and collaborating with board to ensure successful implementation of plan
  • Seeking out strategic partnerships and identifying mission-oriented projects
  • Managing staff/contractors and coordinating with them to develop and implement projects
  • Developing annual budget and presenting budget recommendation to board
  • Overseeing product development plan with engineering, manufacturing and regulatory partners

Marketing and Commercialization

  • Responsible for pre-launch strategy and marketing plan
  • Actively involved in the identification, recruiting and engagement of social influencers and opinion leaders
  • Contributes to product lifecycle strategy with the founders and R&D team

Investor Relations

  • Actively involved with the founders on the presenting and organizing of investor pitches
  • Responsible for ongoing investor relations
